2015 FESTIVAL
A SUCCESS!!

The annual Moore Park Beach Festival Art Competition and Bazaar is a highlight of the Wide Bay/Burnett Region's cultural scene. This year's Festival was no exception!

From Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August 2015, the public enjoyed a fun-filled family weekend.

School participation has always been a big part of the festival with many of the local schools participating in the Art programme as well as providing art in the form of music on the Friday morning. 2015 continued this tradition with school bands giving a free concert on the grassed area of the Community Hall. The concert was open to the public and many came and supported these young musicians as they enjoyed performing their music. Thanks go to teachers and parents for their support of this important part of the weekend.

We were at the 2015 Festival.
We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

This year, there was again a fireworks display on the Saturday evening. The display was presented by Skylighter Fireworks. This is a Queensland company who have extensive experience and have put on displays around Australia.

Without the many sponsors, our annual Moore Park Beach Festival Art Competition and Bazaar would not be possible, and we would like to thank them for their kind support. Your support of these businesses would also be appreciated.
